Kids & Youth

Kids Plus is a free after school program for all children from Kinder to Grade 6. All volunteers are safety checked and trained in Child Safety. We run every Tuesday afternoon in the Dodges Ferry Rec Centre/gym from 3pm to 4:30pm. We play games, eat snacks, watch a video and learn about God!

South East Anglican provides trained Christian mentors to local schools in the parish to spend one on one time with students building positive relationships. Mentoring is designed to encourage and support both the school and students.

Southern Beaches has a Sunday kids program which runs during the Sunday afternoon service. Primary school aged children go out with leaders and have their own lesson based on what the adults learn in the service. They also play games and do craft and have fun!

After the children return to the service after the sermon, high school aged children are invited to join the Youth Discussion, which is a space for high schoolers to talk about the sermon, eat cool snacks and ask any questions. This takes place towards the end of the service, and extends a couple of minutes after the service ends.

Southern Beaches youth also go on cool excursions once a term! Previous excursions have included visiting other Anglican youth church events, going bowling and rock climbing. Youth are encouraged to bring friends!
